The ocean from the retreat house terrace

I am running a week-long, in-person retreat on the Oaxacan coast of Mexico, together with my wife Katherine.

Ofrezco un retiro presencial de una semana en la costa de Oaxaca, México, junto con mi esposa Katherine.

Each day I will offer two satsangs, each a guided meditation followed by a Q&A dialogue. Mornings and afternoons we will also do movement, dancing, circular breathing and other meditations. We might take a day off to rest and integrate; previous retreats have been quite intense for participants.

There will be shared meals in the area during the week. Oaxaca is celebrated as Mexico's culinary heartland.

Four rooms in the retreat house are available for the week (seven nights). The house has a pool, gardens and terraces looking out over the ocean, and the satsangs are held right there. Room prices are for the whole week and are separate from the retreat fee.

Getting there

Cómo llegar

There are two international airports in the area: Puerto Escondido (PXM) is 5 minutes away, and Huatulco (HUX), a resort town, is about an hour and a half away by taxi.

Puerto Escondido is a relaxed, friendly town. Crime indexes rate it safer than Toronto.

I highly recommend staying a few extra days after the retreat to rest and integrate in this beautiful, lively place.

The retreat fee is $650 USD, or $550 if you register by December 15, 2026. A non-refundable $150 USD deposit holds your place and is credited toward the fee. If the fee is what keeps you from coming, reach out and we'll find an arrangement.
